There will be a welcome reception 4:00pm-5:00pm with Cash Bar, followed by an evening of music and fun. Get ready to dance the night away with Mark Cutler and the Men of Great Courage, with Musical Guests Blind Faith. RI’s very own Jimmy Isom will also be making an appearance!

Rhode Island's 2015 Statewide Self-Advocacy Meeting: MY VOICE - MY CHOICE!The 2015 Annual Statwide Self-Advocacy Meeting took place on Monday, March 30th, 7:00-9:00pm at the Crown Plaza in Warwick. Approximately 200 Self-Advocates, family member and allies were there to talk, learn and share ideas about Individual Choice and Making Informed Decisions. Photos and materials shared at the event will be available on our website soon.

Rhode Island's 19th Annual Statewide Self-Advocacy Conference was awesome! More than 400 people attended POWER UP on Thursday, October 30th, 2014 at the Crown Plaza in Warwick.

Advocates in Action RI is currently producing a feature length documentary about the history of Rhode Island's former state instituion for people who had a developmental disability. Best Judgment: Ladd School Lessons will also examine the negative attitudes and stereotypes that still exist towards people who have a developmental disability today.
